Local 1000 Council Meetings

The Local 1000 Council generally meets quarterly and meetings are rotated around the state. These meetings are open to any member of SEIU Local 1000. Members are also permitted to speak during these meetings. Notice of these meetings are generally provided to your local DLC President and posted on the Local 1000

website.

January	Los Angeles	Amendment to 2008 budget, including funding for Local 1000 to participate in SEIU call center in Pasadena Preliminary approval of proposal to reorganize Unit 1
april	Telephone Conference	Final approval of the Unit 1 reorganization plan will be considered at this meeting Amendments to the Committee on Political Education (COPE) budget was adopted.
May	Sacramento
JULY	Oakland	This meeting was devoted mostly to orientation for new members of the Local 1000 Council.
OCTOBER	Sacramento
DECEMBER	San Diego	This meeting was devoted entirely for a strategic planning session. There were no official actions taken at this meeting.
